The discovery of this new unequal, Just music system has come to life by calibrating all the music tones using the 4:3 ratio; unlike the Pythagoreans who used the 3:2 ratio which resulted in creating various problems including the well known problem of the “Pythagorean comma”. The Pythagorean erroneous approach continued throughout our history to the present. This new unequal, Just music system, Muzika 432 True Fourths Just Temperament Tuning, at concert pitch A 432 Hertz, is in perfect sympathy with the natural intervals of the harmonic series, with the world surrounding us and the world within our very being. We can say with certainty that Muzika 432 True Fourths Just Temperament Tuning, is a Just music system in its most perfect form.

Muzika 432 is about to take you on a journey into a world of discovery, clear your mind of all previous notions concerning the approach to music theory and calibration, arm yourself with a free spirit for adventure, some paper, a pencil and perhaps a calculator and let the journey begin! This website will take you through a simplified version of this unequal Just music system, but who wishes an in-depth view of this entire music system it is found here in the book, “Muzika 432, Muzika 432 True Fourths Just Temperament Tuning, A New Unequal, Just Temperament Tuning at Concert Pitch A 432 Hz.” under Muzika 432/Books. Let us explore this new unequal, Just tuning and work through the mathematics together, let us see how beautiful this system is in all its simplicity and perfection, let us take back and embrace what was woven into the very fabric of our being from the beginning of time.

Muzika 432 uses the 4:3 ratio to compute all the music tones starting with calculations at C 256 Hz. When we multiply by 4/3 we ascend or go up in our music tones, when we multiply by 3/4 we descend or go down. Let’s begin with C4 at 256 Hz, 256 x 4/3 = 341.33 Hz which is the tone F4, if we continue in this way we will generate all the sharps/flats. These notes are in tune in the first four octaves and gradually go out of tune in the highest three octaves. To rectify this problem we use the Harmonic Mean formula, (2ab/a+b), to compute all the sharp/ flat tones. Notice we have used 4/3 to ascend, now we will use 3/4 to descend and find all the natural (un-altered) notes. C4 at 256Hz x 3/4=192Hz G3, 192 x 3/4=144Hz D3, 144 x 3/4=108Hz A2, 108 x 3/4= 81Hz E2, 81 x 3/4= 60.75Hz B1, and we now have all of the natural notes of our unequal Just music system.

Thus the entire Just music system of Muzika 432 TFJTT is complete, in its first form, which has only single sharps/flats. To compute all the individual sharps and flats, which is Muzika 432 TFJTT the second form, you will need to consult the book mentioned earlier, which is available on this website. As we have just seen, the magic key is found in the 4:3 ratio and not the mistaken approach of the Pythagoreans and their calculations using the 3:2 ratio. Claudius Ptolemy the great Alexandrian philosopher and scientist of the first and second century A.D., also criticizes the Pythagoreans and claims that they were mistaken in their calculations. In the book,“Muzika 432 True Fourths Just Temperament Tuning, A New Unequal, Just Temperament Tuning at Concert Pitch A 432 Hz”, chapter IV is dedicated to Ptolemy’s “Harmonics”.

Notice below how our Just music system matches the frequencies of our light spectrum. The light frequency of Red is our music tone A4, Orange B4, Yellow C5, Green D5, Blue is E5, Indigo F5 and Violet is G5.

    Red

    Orange

    Yellow

    Green

    Blue

    Indigo

    Violet

    (A4 432 Hertz) 380-460 Terahertz

    (B4  486 Hertz)  460-510 Terahertz

    (C5  512 Hertz)  510-530 Terahertz

    (D5  576 Hertz)  530-600 Terahertz

    (E5  648 Hertz)  600-650 Terahertz

    (F5  682.66 Hertz)  650-700 Terahertz

    (G5  768 Hertz)  700-790 Terahertz

When you convert Hertz to Terahertz, you multiply by 10 to the power of 12, for example Violet light at 768 Hertz x 10^12 = 768 Terahertz.

In the Muzika 432 TFJTT music system the perfect intervals are not only the octave at 2/1, the perfect 4th at 4/3, and the perfect 5th at 3/2, but also most of the 5/4 and 6/5 intervals, known as the major and minor thirds.Choosing a music tuning and temperament is a matter of personal preference and individual freedom. An unequal, Just tuning at A 432 Hz seems to be a tuning which many people are drawn to and find natural, calming and rejuvenating. The ancients believed that music had great power over the human being both physically and spiritually. Perhaps in our new age, with Muzika 432, we will again find in music, like the ancients, that endless power.

An age which is just beginning to bloom; an age that has taken from our earliest beginnings, from the very best we have created throughout our history and combined it to create a better world and finer human being who is always open to new ideas. Our new age is a new world of freedom and peaceful coexistence, of friendship and tolerance, of genuine empathy and compassion. MUZIKA 432 is part of this new world.

For music to be experienced to the fullest it must be experienced live! We encourage everyone to go to as many live concerts as possible, to experience music live as much as possible,to learn to play an instrument no matter how old or young and to remember that the human voice is the most powerful instrument in existence. The reason for this phenomenon between live music and electronic music lies in the natural “overtones”, electronic music is always slightly limited while music played and experienced live is three diminutional and endless.
